PARTIES William BIRCHALL of Ince in Makerfield, Wigan, Lancashire - Bricklayer Henry FARRIMOND of Platt Bridge, Wigan, Lancashire - Engineer SUBJECT The document concerns a plot of land in the township of Hindley, Wigan, Lancashire, bounded on the North by the road from Wigan to Hindley and on the West by Capps Lane. We are told that in July 1876 a 999 year lease was granted on the plot to Charles Capps and William Birchall jointly. These two are now in the course of erecting two cottages on it. In this Indenture William Birchall is selling his half share in the lease to Henry Farrimond for £85.
