The indenture relates to a dwellinghouse at No.13 Rock Road, Latchford, Cheshire on which a 995-year lease had been created in 1909. In 1910 Henry Thornton aquired an interest in the property as security for a loan, but later came into full possession of the lease. Either he or his executors have at some time underlet it to James Palin. The executors are now selling the residue of the 995-year lease to James Palin for £350.
