Robert WHARTON of Hurley near Marlow, Berkshire. (Esquire) Henry Herbert Stephen CROFT of Kines Bench Walk, Temple, City of London. (Barrister) John DOUGLAS and George DOUGLAS both of Blyth, Northumberland (Builders) SUBJECT We are told that Robert Wharton and Henry Croft are Trustees of the Thornton Croft Estate Act 1856. They are selling four pieces of building ground at Waterloo, Township of Cowpen, Parish of Horton, Northumberland, with a total of 530 square yards. They lay on the North side of Rowley Street. The purchasers ar John and George Douglas, paying a total of £134/8/4d. Restrictions are placed on the type and uses of any house which may be built. A Memorandum added on the back dated September 1892 says that the four building sites have been sold to "various purchasers". | ||||||||||||
