William Corbett had agreed to sell the residue of the lease on this property to Samuel Patterson for £300, but before the sale was executed, Samuel Patterson agreed to sell it on to Noah Cleuit, also for £300. This document formalises the whole agreement. We are told that this property had originally been one of a group of 9 houses (52 - 68 Bowness Street, even numbers), on which a 999 year lease had been granted in 1907. The Schedules at the end of the document detail a little of the history of the group between 1907 and 1922
