The Rt Hon John Lord LILFORD Baron Lilford, of Lilford in the County of Northampton. William Rowland BOYDELL of Leigh in the County of Lancaster, Lancashire. SUBJECT Lord Lilford is granting a 999 year lease on property in Leigh, Lancashire, to William Boydell at an annual rent of £12/9/4d. It consists of a plot of 1035 square yards on the corner of Hope Street and Reeves Street. William Boydell undertakes to build three or more dwellinghouses on the plot within two years and to compensate the agricultural tenant of the land if necessary. Five Memoranda have been added later between 1908 and 1920 indicating that the plot was divided into five parts (each including one dwellinghouse) and each sold off separately with the residue of the 999 year lease. Four of the houses were numbered 80 82 84 and 86 Hope Street. | ||||||||||||
