SUBJECT Richard Arkwright is selling property in Cromford, Derbyshire, to Frederick and Grace Whitworth for £45. It consists of: 1) A dwellinghouse at 14 North Street, with an earth closet about 100 feet away 2) A parcel of ground used as a garden next to The School Gardens in Cromford There is mention of a Frederick Charter Arkwright (deceased) who appears to have owned the property in 1879.
