SUBJECT The document relates to a plot of land of 431 square yards in the township of Habergham Eaves in the Borough of Burnley. It contains 4 dwellinghouses numbered 44, 46, 48 and 50 Branch Street. A 999 year lease on this property had been created in 1887 and the residue of this lease is now being sold by John Lawson to Tom and Florence Howarth for £165. We are told that the lease had come into the hands of Thomas Lawson (father of the vendor) in 1890, and who died in 1892. There is mention of Mary, the wife of Thomas Lawson, and of his son in law John Whitehead.
