Moses COWSILL of Dukinfield, Cheshire. Collier. William BASS of Dukinfield, Cheshire. Esquire. John HYDE of Dukinfield, Cheshire. Cotton Manufacturer. James OGDEN the Younger of Dukinfield, Cheshire. Cotton Manufacturer. SUBJECT The Indenture begins by reciting that in January 1853 Moses Cowsill bought a plot of land in Dukinfield of about 120ft by 48ft on the North side of Saint Marks School. There are now 4 dwellinghouses in the course of erection, and Moses Cowsill is mortgaging the whole to the Astley Arms Building Society for £300. A memorandum has been added on the back dated November 1861 and signed by the same 3 trustees to say that the mortgage had then been repaid. | |||||||||||||
