SUBJECT This is the first part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which William Horton and John Ford are selling property in the parish of Madeley, Shropshire, to John Ward. It consists of 5 acres of land called The Far Hoop laying on the South side of the road leading from Madeley to Lightmoor. Note that William Horton and John Ford are acting as Trustees of William Purton (deceased). The separate piece of paper is simply a covering note sent by John Ward's solicitors.
