SUBJECT
Edward Davies is purchasing property in the Parish of Claverley, Shropshire for 1212/10/-d. The property is divided into 5 parcels of land, totalling 9 acres, and includes 3 dwelling houses.

We are told that this property was acquired in 1844 by the New Civil Society which met at the Wheel Inn in Wyken, Parish of Worfield. In practice, this meant that it was held by a number of trustees, of whom William Davies and William Callant are the only survivors, in trust for 3 Stewards of the Society. Thomas Fenton is the only surviving Steward.
