James HALL of Salters Hall, London. Esquire. William DAWKINS of Oxford Street, Middlesex. Gentleman. SUBJECT This is the first part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which James Hall is selling property in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and also Amersham, Hertfordshire, to William Dawkins. It consists of a half-share of the following: 1. A capital messuage (which usually means Manor House) called Whites Farm. 2. Farmland totalling 110 acres. 3. Woods and coppices totalling 86 acres. 4. Land forming part of a farm known as "the second part of Polles Green Farm". Various parcels totalling 11 acres are listed in detail. It appears that most of this property is occupied by Daniel GALLOPINE as tenant. We are not told who owns the other half share of the property, but there is mention of The Reverend John Stevenson GEARY "of Whites Farm, in the hamlet of Coleshill in the County of Hertford". Maybe it's him? | |||||||||||||||
