William DUNSDON of Bradford, Wiltshire. Gentleman. SUBJECT William Dancey is mortgaging property in Bradford and Melksham to William Dunsdon for £200. It consists of: 1) Cottage and garden at Atworth Common, Bradford, which had been bought by William Dancey in 1820. 2) Cottage and garden at Shaw Hill, Melksham, bought by William Dancey in 1818. 3) Messuage and garden to the North West of Atworth Common, Bradford, with two dwellinghouses erected by William Dancey. This had been bought in 1815. There is also mention of a property called Oathways Mead owned by William Dancey to the West of (3) above, but note included in the mortgage. Notes on the cover mention that the mortgage was subsequently paid off, and that in 1851 the Trustees of William Dancey (then deceased) sold off various parts of this property. | |||||||||||
