Thomas CUFF of Bath, Somerset. Esquire.

SUBJECT
William Long is mortgaging property in Kingswood, Wiltshire, to Thomas Cuff for £3500. It consists of 2 (unnamed) messuages with 24 named parcels of land totalling 169 acres.

In the second Indenture of 1842 on the back, William Long is repaying the final £2500 of the loan and the property is being reconveyed to him.

We are told that the property had come into the hands of William Long in 1824. The vendors at that time were Osborne Yeats and others, all of whom are shown in great detail to derive their interest from the Will of Sarah Osborne (nee Yeates).
