William BACON of Upwell, Cambridgeshire. Farmer & Grazier. SUBJECT John Cave and Susanna his wife are selling property in Upwell, Norfolk, to James Lee for £260. It consists of 40 acres of land which appears to have come to Susanna from her parents John and Mary GOTOBED, and before that from Mary's father William BEART (?). James Lee also holds a mortgage for £400 on the property and this sum appears also to be part of the purchase price. William Lee and William Bacon appear to be involved only as trustees and play little real part. | ||||||||||||
