William WORTS of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Merchant John VALE of Gorleston, Suffolk. Gentleman SUBJECT William Worts is mortgaging copyhold property in the Manor of Horning, Norfolk, to John Vale for £800. Accordingly, William Worts and Mary his wife have surrendered the property to the Lord of the Manor as part of the contract. The property is described only as "messuages, mills and lands". A note added on the back dated 28/2/1817 says that £400 of the mortgage was repaid by William Worts "some years ago" and that the final £400 was then being repaid by Mssrs.
