SUBJECT
This document arises out of the death of Thomas Oliver Hession who died intestate in 1905. He had been a Brigade Surgeon in the British Army and was living in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, still a bachelor, at the time of his death.

His estate amounted to £2760 which was to be divided between his nine nephews and nieces, all the children of his two brothers, William and John Hession. Letters of Administration of his estate were granted to Annie Hession, living in Chelsea, who was responsible for sorting it all out.

The object of this document is that all the beneficiaries, so far as they can be tracked down, are formally agreeing that Annie Hession has completed her duties as Administrator and can be released from any further responsibility.

Accordingly the document is signed by several members of the family, ie Patrick, John, Margaret and William Hession together with Nora McGrath.

In addition to the signatures there is mention of an Andrew Hession who had died and is represented by a solicitor, and of an Elizabeth Cunningham whose sanity is in question.
