SUBJECT We are told that a marriage has been agreed upon between Sophia Leaf and George Dawes. Before the marriage takes place the property of Sophia Leaf is being placed in the hands of Joseph Last, Henry Stephens and John Dawes as Trustees, in order to keep it out of reach of her husband. The document recites that this property has come to her from the Will of Joseph Last in 1877 and gives details of various transactions between 1867 and 1875 in which it came into the hands of Joseph Last.
