SUBJECT
The Indenture relates to two houses known as numbers 1 and 2 Providence Villas, in Dartmouth Park, Sydenham, in the Parish of Lewisham, Kent. They are on the East side of the Old High Road leading from Forest Hill Railway Station to Lewisham. In 1868 an 89 year lease on this property was given to Charles Pearce, who had built the houses. In August 1869 he mortgaged it for £450 to the General Mutual Building Society.

Henry Wilcox is now buying the residue of the lease for £505, most of which is paid direct to the building society in settlement of the mortgage.
