Henry Lakin of Severn End, Worcestershire. Gentleman.
Joseph Hill (deceased) of Bromsberrow, Gloucestershire. Labourer.

SUBJECT
The indenture concerns a cottage with half acre of land on the West side of Caison Hill, Parish of Bromsberrow.

We are told that in 1822 Joseph Hill (the father of John Hill) mortgaged the property for £20. By 1835, after various transfers (unspecified) the property was owned by John Hill, but with a mortgage of £90 outstanding to Edward Lane.

Now John Hill is selling the property to Osman Ricardo for £80 which is being paid direct to Edward Lane, and he is accepting it in full discharge of the mortgage.

Henry Lakin appears to act only as some sort of Trustee and plays little real part.
