SUBJECT We are told that in October 1881 John MacPherson bought property in the Parish of Hewelsfield, Gloucestershire, from Dame Elizabeth Buxton for £8,471. Some of the title deeds to this property also relate to property owned by Samuel Marling and it has been agreed that he will keep the documents. Accordingly, Samuel Marling is entering into a covenant to produce the title deeds if and when required. Only two indentures are listed, both dated 1858.
