PARTIES
George DREWITT of Guildford, Surrey. Auctioneer. Jane DREWITT of Worthing, Sussex, Widow. William Frederick VERRALL of Worthing, Sussex. Solicitor. Richard SHILLINGFORD of Guildford, Surrey. Builder. SUBJECT Richard Shillingford is granted a 21 year lease on a butcher's shop and other premises at numbers 95 and 95a High Street, Guildford at rent of £120 per annum. It appears that the lease is granted jointly by the other 3 parties with half the rent payable to George Drewitt and the other half payable to Jane Drewitt and William Verrall. We are told that Jane Drewitt and William Verrall are acting as " Trustees within the meaning of the Settled Land Acts ", but it is not clear how this situation came about. A schedule lists the fixtures and fittings in the premises. | ||||||||||||
