William HIDE of Tarring, Sussex. William STREET of Goring, Sussex. Yeoman. Eliza STREET of Goring, Sussex. Selina STREET of Goring, Sussex. William TRIBE of Worthing, Sussex. Gentleman. SUBJECT This is a document of a Special Court Baron of the Manor of Tarring with Marlpost, Sussex. It relates to copyhold land in the Manor called BOLDS containing 1 rood and with a cottage on it built by William Hide. We are told that William Hide mortgaged the property to William Street for £00 in 1818. William Hide died intestate and insolvent in 1828 without having repaid the mortgage. William Street died in 1822 having appointed William Tribe (amongst others, since deceased) as his Executor. Accordingly, William Tribe was admitted to the property in 1829. Now Eliza Street and Selina Street (two daughters of William Street) have reached the age of 21 years, William Tribe is passing the property on to them. Note that there is another daughter Gainor Street who also appears in the Will of William Street. | |||||||||||
