Francis Dick already owns another plot immediately to the North and Alfred Burges owns land on the South and East. The property appears to have come into the hands o Alfred Burges in 1852. There is a schedule listing other deeds relating to this property from 1821 to 1852 which shows it had originally been copyhold land in the Manor of North Lancing and Monks South Lancing and Lyons
