PARTIES James BOWDEN of Highfield, Derbyshire. Gentleman. AND Amy Bowden his wife. Samuel DANIEL of Stockport, Cheshire. Grocer. Nicholas John LYON (d) of Leeshall, Oldham, Lancashire. Esquire. SUBJECT We are told that Amy Bowden is a sister and heir of Nicholas Lyon. Presumably, there is one other heir since James and Amy Bowden are mortgaging a half share in a long list of properties in Oldham and Rochdale, Lancashire. The mortgage is for £170. The first item mentioned is "the South East part of the Capital Messuage or Mansion house called The Hall of Lees" which is occupied by Hester Lyon, Widow.
