Summary of contents:
PARTIES William James Finnes of New Brompton, Kent. Butcher. John Thomas Prall and Richard Prall both of Rochester, Kent. Attorneys at Law. SUBJECT William Finnes is borrowing £200 from John and Richard Prall on a mortgage on property in Gillingham, Kent. The property consists of two plots of land acquired by William Finnes in 1848 and 1849, both forming part of a larger area formerly called Ardens. Also, a dwellinghouse, butchers shop and slaughterhouse, fronting the High Road from Brompton to Gillingham. This latter was acquired two days before the date of this mortgage. The Indenture of 1880 acknowledges that the £200 has been repaid and reconveys the property to William Finnes.
