PARTIES
Robert KERSEY of Kingswood Lodge, Lewisham Road, Greenwich, Kent. Gentleman. John WEBB of Strickland Street, New Town, Deptford, Kent. Builder. George Henry WEBB of Strickland Street, New Town, Deptford, Kent. Bricklayer. SUBJECT Robert Kersey is granting an 81 year lease on property in Greenwich to George Webb at a rent of £6 per annum, except for the first year when the rent is a peppercorn. The property consists of 2 newly erected dwellinghouses at numbers 21 and 22 Albion Grove, Greenwich. George Webb undertakes to "complete the said dwellinghouses and make the same fit for habitation". We are told that Robert Kersey is acting "by the direction of John Webb" which suggests that the latter is the real owner and Robert Kersey is acting only as a trustee. | |||||||||||
