PARTIES
The Kingston upon Hill Industrial and Provident Working men's Dwellinghouse Society Ltd ("The Society"). Richard SMALLEY of Lune Villa near Lancaster, Lancashire. Gentleman. William HOUSMAN of Hornby, Lancashire. Gentleman. SUBJECT The Society is borrowing £2600 from Richard Smalley and William Housman on a mortgage on property in Hull. It consists of a piece of ground of 14,781 square yards on the West side of Glasgow Street, in Newington, Kingston upon Hill. It contains 26 dwelling houses numbered 56 to 106 (even numbers only) Glasgow Street, of which number 68 is intended to be a shop. A second Indenture of 1876 has been added in which Richard Smalley has taken over the whole of the mortgage and William Housman releases all his rights to the property. The document has a large wax seal of the society (now somewhat cracked) and is signed by three officers of the society. | ||||||||||||
