Catherine Julia WARD of Mortimer Street, Cavendish Square, Middlesex. Widow John Jenner SALTMARSH of 75 Blackfriars Road, Surrey. Samuel RUST (deceased) of Bennett Street, Parish of Christchurch, Surrey. Builder SUBJECT The document begins by reciting an Indenture of 1811 in which Samuel Rust aquired a 99 year lease (beginning in 1802) on property in Christchurch, Surrey. Samuel Rust died in 1826 leaving the property to his son (also Samuel Rust) who then assigned the lease to Catherine Ward in 1856. John Saltmarsh is now buying the residue of the lease for £550. The plot is on the West side of Surrey Road (otherwise know as St Georges Road) in the parish of Christchurch, Surrey. It is about 19ft x 56ft. (The road names above are as given in the 1811 indenture. The property is now described as in Greet Surrey Street). | |||||||||||
