PARTIES
Percy John Martin Loft of Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Gentleman. Trustee of the Auckland Union Permanent Building Society. Frederick Robson of Coundon, Durham, Builder John Gargett of Coundon, Durham, Builder SUBJECT This is a court document of the Manor of Coundon which relates to Copyhold property in that manor. It consists of 3 houses at No 33 Victoria Road and Nos 8/9 Clyde Terrace East. We are told that John Gargett and Frederick Robson had bought this property jointly in 1909 but now John Gargett is selling his share to Frederick Robson for £403/10/9d. At the same time Frederick Robson is borrowing £400 from The Auckland Building Society. To complete this transaction, this document records the Manorial formalities in which Gargett and Robson surrender the property to the Lords of the Manor, and Percy Loft, acting on behalf of the Building Society, is admitted to it. A paper memorandum is attached recording that on the same day the property at 8 Clyde Terrace East was sold to Robert and Dorothy Davies. | |||||||||||
