Robert PETLEY (deceased) of Hornsey Rise, Middlesex. Builder.

We're told that Robert Petley died in April 1877 having appointed his wife Sarah as sole beneficiary and sole Executrix. At the time of his death he possessed a number of leasehold properties mainly in Victoria Road and Beaumont Road, Holloway. He had various mortgages and other agreements in place at the time of his death relating to the properties.

Sarah Petley is now confirming all her husband's agreements in which Henry Holmes ends up by buying much of the property. The other parties to the document are mainly solicitors and mortgage holders,.

Two schedules list the property owned by Robert Petley and his outstanding mortgages. The only signature on the document is that of SARAH PETLEY.
