PARTIES

William MANNERINGS of the Parish of St Margaret near the City of Rochester, Kent. Carpenter.
George CONQUEST of Chatham, Kent. Trustee.

SUBJECT
This is the second part of a contract of sale by Lease and Release in which Jacob Troy is selling property in Rochester to William Mannerings. It consists of a plot of 133 feet x158 feet on the corner of Star Lane and King Street in the parish of St Margaret next the City of Rochester. It is part of an area called "Kings Field lately laid out for since since in part built on".

We are told that the property is "freed and discharged of and from the Jointure and Dower of Mary, the now wife of the said Jacob Cazeneuve Troy".

Note that George Conquest appears to act only as some sort of Trustee and plays little real part.
