Hannah JACKSON of 55 Bennett Street, Newton in Hyde, Cheshire. Widow. Tinker, Shenton & Co Ltd of Hyde, Cheshire. John DOBSON (deceased) of Newton Moor, Hyde, Cheshire. Mechanic. SUBJECT The document is titled "Abstract of Title of Mrs Hannah Jackson to Freehold Land, messuages and premises situate in Newton in the County of Chester". It recites that John Dobson bought a plot of land in 1874 of 776 square yards on the highway leading from Flowery Lane to Newton. He later erected several houses on this plot. John Dobson died in 1885 leaving everything to his wife, Hannah, who was his sole Executrix. Hannah Dobson later married Robert Hadfield Hall Jackson in 1891, but he died in 1909. In 1921 Hannah Jackson sold number 65 Bennett Street, Newton, which was part of the above ploit, to Tinkler Shenton & Co, Ltd. | ||||||||||||||
