Engineer Bertha EASON formerly of 24 York Mansions, Battersea Park, London but now of 33 Northside, Streatham, Surrey, wife of George EASON Alfred READ formerly of 73 Park Road East but now of 3 Palm Grove, both in Birkenhead, Cheshire. Colliery Agent SUBJECT The document begins by reciting that in 1905 Alfred Read mortgaged property in Birkenhead to Phillip Nicklin and Bertha Eason. It consisted of a plot of land on the South Side of St Andrews Road, Birkenhead, with two houses numbers 29 and 31 St Andrews Road.
