James GARSTANG of Whittle le Woods, Lancashire, Blacksmith SUBJECT In the main indenture William Garstang is borrowing £200 from Thomas Barlow and Edward Singleton on a mortgage on property in Whittle le Wood, Lancashire. The property is land formerly used as a garden opposite "The Old Millstone Inn", together with a dwellinghouse "now erected or in the course of erection" on it. In the second indenture we are told that William Garstang died in 1900 having appointed Alfred Taylor and James Garstang as Executors and Trustees.
