Summary of contents:
PARTIES Henry Coulthard of West Auckland, Durham, Miner. Bishop Auckland Industrial Cooperative. SUBJECT Henry Coulthard is borrowing £250 from the Bishop Auckland Industrial Cooperative on security of properties Nos 7 and 10 Eden Crescent, West Auckland and a further plot of land immediately behind these two houses. It seems that Henry Coulthard bought No 7 Eden Crescent in 1902 but acquired the other parts at some later date. There is an acknowledgment on the back of the document that the mortgage was paid off in 1919.
