Joseph North of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, Auctioneer. SUBJECT This is an abstract of the title of Joseph North to a plot of land in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, and is dated 1901 on the cover. The plot of land contains about 2 acres and lies between Charles Street and an area known as Northchurch Glebe. It appears to have been sold by Berkhamsted Grammar School in 1878 and was being used as allotment gardens by Berkhamsted Council in 1900. Joseph North bought the plot from Earl Brownlow in October 1900 and convenants that he will only build dwelling houses on it. | |||||||||||||
