Dyson STARKEY Birkby, the Borough of Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Warehouseman. William Henry LEE late of Huddersfield, Yorkshire, now of Withington, City of Manchester. Merchant. Thomas STARKEY of Marsh, Huddersfield, Yorkshire. SUBJECT The Indenture concerns property in Halifax Old Turnpike Road, Huddersfield, Yorkshire, on which Thomas Starkey (deceased) obtained a 999 year lease in 1871. This became part of a Settlement in 1872 in anticipation of the marriage of Thomas Starkey and Rhoda Hanson with Dyson Starkey as a Trustee. Thomas Starkey died in 1883 and Rhoda Starkey (nee Hanson) died in 1891. Dyson Starkey (acting as Trustee of the marriage settlement) is now assigning the residue of the lease to himself, William Henry Lee and Thomas Starkey. (I think that these 3 are acting as Executors and/or Trustees of the will of Thomas Starkey.) (A newspaper cutting from 1906 of the obituary of William Henry Lee has been pinned to the Indenture.) Assignment of Leasehold dwelling houses in Halifax Old Road, Huddersfield, in the County of Yorkshire. | ||||||||||||
