SUBJECT
The document begins by reciting that in 1900 Mary Hawkes mortgaged property in Leicester to William Stevenson for £3000. William Stevenson died in 1906 having appointed his daughters Alice Taylor and Ada Laxton as his Executors. This indenture acknowledges that the mortgage has now been repaid and the property is being reconveyed to Mary Hawkes.

The property consists of a plot of 396 square yards on the East side of Charles Street, Parish of St Margaret, Leicester. It contains a messuage and various warehouses which had been erected by Peter MARSH, James SARGEANT and Thomas SARGEANT.
