Edward Graham of Harrow, Middlesex. Esquire Arthur Dugdale of Ivy Bank, Burnley, Lancashire. Manufacturer. Olive Muriel Mary BAGGE (nee MENDEL) the wife of John Picton BAGGE, British Vice Consul at Nicholaieff, Russia. SUBJECT This Indenture concerns property in Withington, Lancashire, which is in the hands of Edward Graham and Arthur Dugdale who are acting as Trustees of property in trust for Olive Bagge. They are now conveying the property to Olive Bagge and being released from their obligations as Trustees. This is a very long document with about 31 'whereas' clauses. These begin in 1854 when the relevant property came into the hands of Samuel MENDEL. In 1870, Samuel Mendel made a marriage settlement in contemplation of his intended marriage to Mary BROOKS. The marriage took place in 1870 and Mary Mendel then died in 1881 leaving 2 daughters, Ethel Mary Mendel and Olive Muriel Mendel. Skipping over a dozen more Indentures and court cases we come to 1910 when Olive Mendel married John Picton BAGGE. She is now having the property in College Road, Withington conveyed into her own name. | |||||||||||||
