PARTIES
The Rt Hon Charles, Earl of Tankerville. Anne VYNER of the Parish of St George in the Fields, Westminster, Middlesex. Widow. Peter HINDE of Leather Lane, Parish of St Andrew, Holbourne, Middlesex. Brewer. Jonathan BOULTER of Cruchett Fryers (?) London. Distiller. Samuel JACKSON of Ironmonger Lane, London. Gentleman. SUBJECT We are told that in 1726 the Earl of Tankerville mortgaged property to Anne Vyner for £4000. That mortgage is now being split into two parts, with £2000 borrowed from Samuel Jackson and the other £2000 borrowed from Peter Hinde and Jonathan Boulter jointly. The property consists of the Manor and township of Stamford (also known as Stamforth) in Northumberland. In the second deed of 1738 the Earl of Tankerville appears to have remortgaged again, and Peter Hinde, Jonathan Boulter and Samuel Jackson are acknowledging that their money has been repaid. The property consists of the Manor and township of Stamford (also known as Stamforth). | ||||||||||||
