PARTIES Elizabeth RILEY the wife of Thomas RILEY of Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire. James WADE of Carleton near Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire. Farmer. SUBJECT Elizabeth Riley is granting a 7 year lease to James Wade on property in Carleton, Lancashire at a rent of £80 per annum. It consists of a "farm with farmhouse outbuildings and several closes of land" known as POOL LODGE FARM. James Wade is already the tenant at the time of taking this new lease. We are told that the property has come into the possession of Elizabeth Riley from the Will of Margaret Rowcroft, late of Poulton le Fylde, Widow. The second Indenture of 1908 records that James Wade surrendered the Lease after 2 years.
