Joseph Somerscales of Evenlode, Gloucestershire (died 1765) Alicia Somerscales of Evenlode, Gloucestershire NB. The only place reference in this document is to "Emload", but a search of the IGI shows a couple named Alicia and Joseph Somerscales in Evenlode, Gloucestershire around 1750, so I have identified Emload as Evenlode. Subject The document recites the interest of Alicia Somerscales in property in Emload and appears to be asking the opinion of a Mr Kenyon of Lincolns Inn as to the extent to which she may dispose of it as she pleases. The property descended to Joseph Somerscales from his father Joseph, and before that from a great-uncle William Somerscales. | ||||||||||||
