George HOPE of Ormonde Lodge, Southborough, Kent. Captain RN SUBJECT The document begins by summarising the will of William Levesen Gower of Telsey Place, Surrey, who died in 1860. He thereby appointed George Hope as an executor and gave a life interest in his estate to Granville Gower. George Hope, acting as trustee, with the consent of Granville Gower, is now purchasing property at Bedlestead Green, Chelsham, Surrey, from Edward Atkinson for £200. The property consists of two semi-detached cottages which were formerly in the Manor of Chelsham but have since been enfranchised.
