Subject
Eben William Robertson is leasing the property at Nos 17 and 18 Linton road, New North Road, Islington, Middlesex to John Dean for a rent of £550 per annum.

The property forms part of a plot leased in 1847 by the Mystery of Clothworkers to Henry Rydon of Oakley House, Oakeley Crescent, City Road, Middlesex, Gentleman for 80 years. This original plot had 80 houses built on it. Henry Rydon allowed Edward Loader in 1848 to build 2 houses on the part of the plot referred to in this indenture, but did not give him a lease on the land. Edward Loader died in 1860 appointing Clement Uzielli, John Mackenzie and James Robins as his executors. In 1853 Henry Rydon leased the plot to Eben Robertson.
