Subject John Starke assigns the lease of 10 Market Street, Barnsbury, London to his wife Ellen "in consideration of his natural love and affection", but she has to pay the rent on the property. The document recites an earlier Indenture of 15/03/1867 in which John Starke obtains an 87 year lease on the property at a rent of £6 per annum. At that time the property was described as in the Parish of St Mary, Islington, Middlesex.
