Henry Reginald Clayton of 42 Regents Park Road, Hampstead, London, Gentleman. Henry William Brooke of 67 Holland Park Avenue, Kensington, London, Gentleman. Gertrude Alice Burnett of Selborne House, Selborne Road, Croydon, Surrey, Spinster. Dorothy Gladys Burnett of Selborne House, Selborne Road, Croydon, Surrey, Spinster. Subject The Misses Burnett are buying the residue of a lease on No 14 Fellows Road, Parish of St John, Hampstead. Middlesex, on the Chalcots Estate for £400. The document refers to a lease of 1867 of this property from Kings College Eton to the Provost of that college for a term of 97 years for a rent of £2 per annum. Then "by divers mesne assurances and acts and operations of law and ultimately by an Indenture of 1898" between Bartholomew Row and John Richard Clayton the residue of the lease passed to John Clayton who died in 1913. His will appointed Henry Clayton and Henry Brooke as executors, who are now selling the residue of the lease. | ||||||||||||
