Henry CHAPPELL of Cardiff, Glamorgan, Gentleman
Mary MAYLED of 27 Newland Street, Barry, Glamorgan, Widow
We are told that in June 1901 Edmund Mayled mortgaged property at 27 Newland Street, Barry to Henry Chappell, with the property being demised to Henry Chappell for the residue of the lease by way of security. Edmund Mayled died in October 1902 having appointed Mary his wife as sole executrix.
In this indenture Henry Chappell acknowledges that the mortgage has now been repaid and the property reverts to Mary Mayled.
The paper letter is to Mrs Laura Frances Jenner of Wenvoe Castle, the original lessee of the property, informing her that Mrs Mary Mayled will subsequently be responsible for paying the ground rent.
