The document begins by reciting that in 1892 Edmund Mayled had been granted a 99 year lease on property at 27 Newland Street, Barry, and that he has since erected a dwellinghouse and stable on it. Edmund Mayled is now mortgaging the property to Henry Chappell for £300.
A Solicitor's letter is incuded which informs the orignal lessees of the event.
