PARTIES
Mary BERE the wife of Matthew John BEER (Commercial Traveller) of Talbot Street, Cardiff, Glamorgan. Rhys MORGAN of Pendrylan, Glamorgan. Farmer. SUBJECT The Indenture relates to a plot of land with messuages on it on the corner of Pitman Street and Talbot Street in the Parish of St John the Baptist, Cardiff. We are told that a 99 year lease on this property had been created in 1885 and that the residue of this lease came into the hands of Mary Bere in 1913. She is now mortgaging it to Rhys Morgan for £150. A second Indenture of 17 September 1914 records that the mortgage was then increased to £300. A third Indenture of 23 November 1918 finally records that the mortgage has been paid off and the lease reassigned to Mary Bere, | ||||||||||||
