James OGDEN the Younger of Dukinfield, Cheshire. Cotton Manufacturer.
The Indenture begins by reciting that in January 1853 Moses Cowsill bought a plot of land in Dukinfield of about 120ft by 48ft on the North side of Saint Marks School.
There are now 4 dwellinghouses in the course of erection, and Moses Cowsill is mortgaging the whole to the Astley Arms Building Society for £300.
A memorandum has been added on the back dated November 1861 and signed by the same 3 trustees to say that the mortgage had then been repaid.
